About DBAD

At the first fishing tournament at Cedar Creek Lake back in 1968, the fishers decided to form an organization which is now known as Dallas Bass Anglers of the Deaf (DBAD).

DBAD is proud to show support toward Texas Bass Club of the Deaf which is held each year.

We are proud to be named as the Winner in first place among the Top 6 Teams at National Deaf Bass Association (NBAD) in 2005.                   

         


DBAD's Banquet is held each year during the month of January (it is usually on the Saturday the week before Super Bowl). The DBAD Members would share their homecooking meals and desserts. It is the custom of DBAD to present various awards, trophies and door prizes. Two major trophies are given each year are:

                LUNKER of the YEAR and 
                MASTER of the YEAR.
 
DBAD welcome any D/deaf, hard of hearing and CODA to join our organization. We are here to enjoy, learn, share and improve our fishing skills. 

DBAD host a monthly tournament from February through November. We also host "ANNUAL LUNKER" each year during  month of April at Lake Fork. 

We, the DBAD Members, want to say a special thank you to  for their donations of a laptop, several trophies, and sponsor our Annual Lunker Tournament.  We appreciate them very much.
